The Timeline:

Formed in 1994, APOGEE pioneered multi-media training and deregulation simulations within the utility industry. What began as Apogee's vision to transform traditional training into self-paced, 24/7 courses has now emerged as the energy industry's leading web-based training portal: Study-Center.com.

In 1999, APOGEE created and launched The Demand Exchange, LLC. and THE DEMAND EXCHANGE® Trading Platform, one of the very first Internet-based voluntary peak load reduction programs in the industry. Since its inception, it has traded over 300,000 MWh of proven demand response resources from over 1,000 industrial, commercial, and even aggregated residential customers.

In 2001, Apogee's engineering experts went to work to develop an advanced energy use modeling system for residential and commercial customers. The result, the Auditmation™ Energy Analysis System, is the core of the ever expanding family of Apogee's advanced applicatons; the HomeEnergyCalculator™, the CommercialEnergyCalculator™, ProgressInsights™, BillingInsights™, and ProgressInsights™. While each application targets a different area, all share the same rigor to ensure accurate results and are designed to be engaging and easy use - so they do get used!

In 2004, Apogee's Webmasters and artists set out to bring advanced featured websites within the reach of even the smallest utilities. Apogee's templated web designs are artistically beautiful and include the key features and capabilities needed by energy utilities.

In 2006, APOGEE took the next step to create an engaging interface for residential customers by adding the InteractiveEnergyHome™ to the HomeEnergySuite™.
